Gentle Adjustment Methods

Network Spinal Analysis (NSA)

Dr. Mike Risoldi, DC Gentle Adjustment Method

Network Spinal Analysis is a new revolutionary approach to wellness that goes beyond curing symptoms.  NSA produces results that have not been seen before in the chiropractic profession or any other healing discipline.  Its purpose is to enhance spinal and neural integrity, adaptability, and significantly advance wellness and quality of life. This is achieved through the introduction of specific low force applications (entrainments) at Spinal Gateways.  It is so gentle that most people disbelieve its effectiveness until they experience an entrainment for themselves.  Entrainments at Spinal Gateways greatly assist the body to develop new strategies for living and healing.

Established benefits* range from improved physical health to enhanced psychological and emotional well being to substantial improvements in quality of life and life enjoyment as a whole. NSA seeks to develop new strategies for a new life, which applies to a person’s internal state of wellness.  By entraining the nervous system with new self-corrective strategies, your body will begin to free itself up from restricted postures and tension patterns and begin healing itself at deeper levels. This means that anyone of any age, occupation, or lifestyle can experience profound benefits.  It also means that whatever your current health situation, whether it appears wonderful, terrible or in absolute crisis, you can significantly improve with Network Care.  With an upgraded nervous system, your body will learn to heal itself and support you through any health crisis whether mild, moderate, or severe.  Everything gets better with Network Care. Network Care is advanced through a series of levels, each producing specific new abilities to adapt to the environment, make healthier choices, enjoy life, and develop a healthier spine.  The outcome assessment approach combines self-reported wellness profiles with practitioner clinical assessment to help review the emerging option for healing and an enriched life.

Traditionally, people wait until there is pain or symptoms before seeking help.  With NSA you can start immediately to entrain your nervous system to self-correct and develop long term strategies for healing and health enhancement.

HOW CAN SUCH A GENTLE TOUCH BE EFFECTIVE?
Have you ever experienced a “state change” when your partner touches you in a certain way, or when you look up and see flashing lights in your rear-view mirror? Have you had your mood uplifted by poetry or a particular piece of music? Your body’s physiology responds powerfully to subtle cues every day.  In Network Spinal Analysis just the right sequence of gentle contacts on the exact location of the spine with just the right force, cues the brain to heal. The points along the spine that can be used to access the brain’s healing functions are called Spinal Gateways.  These are points that the Network Practitioner uses to facilitate your body’s self-correction.

WHY IS IT RECOMMENDED I CONTINUE TO RECEIVE NETWORK CARE AFTER MY SYMPTOMS HAVE GONE?
Symptoms are often the last to show up and the first to go.  More often than not, your body has been declining for months or even years before the alarm bells start ringing!  Network seems to help your body develop self-correcting strategies to recover full, vibrant well-being.  This, like all things truly worthwhile, takes time and commitment.  If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.
“There is magic in a healthy spine.”

NSA is beyond just the nervous system coordinating the body parts, but helping you to express greater states of consciousness, greater coherency, greater function, and greater connection not only within yourself, but in the world you are a part of.

"A Retrospective Assessment of Network Care
Using a Survey of Self-Related Health, Wellness, and Quality of Life."

A Study of Network Patients' Self-reported Outcomes Conducted within the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology, College of Medicine, and Department of Sociology, University of California, Irvine California 92697-1275

The study evaluated a population of over 2800 patients under Network Care in the U.S. and abroad. Seventy-six percent (76%) of the patients studied reported improved combined wellness changes in all categories assessed. An increasing percentage of patients reported progressively greater improvements in the areas assessed as a function of duration of care: that is, in the population studied, there was no "ceiling" to the results over time for the health and wellness categories investigated. The benefits reported among patient respondents were evident from those as recent as 1 to 3 months under care to those under care as long as 3 plus years.

The following all showed statistical and clinically significant benefits:
  • Less physical pain
  • Less tension or stiffness of spine
  • Improved allergies, eczema, and skin rashes
  • Fewer incidences of cold/flu
  • Fewer headaches
  • Less menstrual discomfort
  • Improved positive feelings about self
  • Less moodiness, angry outbursts, and depression
  • More interest in life
  • Improved ability to think and concentrate
  • Less anxiety and less concern about vague fears
  • Improved ability to stay on task
  • Less discomfort about pain
  • Less stress relative to: family, significant relationship, health, finances, daily problems, work, and general well being
  • Experience of relaxation and well being
  • Interest in maintaining a healthy lifestyle
  • Feeling open when relating to others
  • Confidence for and acceptance of others
  • Incidence of feelings of joy or happiness
  • Improved Overall Quality of Life
  • Improved physical appearance

In addition to these categories, there was also a significant increase in health promoting practices and a decrease in health detracting practices.

Network Spinal Analysis can improve brain function.

Researchers asked a volunteer to perform a simple ankle motion while viewing the volunteer’s brain through a functional MRI before and after an adjustment. Before the adjustment, the volunteer’s brain showed generalized areas of activation in several areas throughout the brain. Immediately following the adjustment, the regions of activation were much smaller and seen in only one area of the brain. This translates to approximately 2000 times more neural efficiency, or brain function.
