Gayle P. I first started coming to Dr. Mike after trying a lot of different things. I first met him at an art festival and was very impressed with what he had to say about the condition of my health. I had been having trouble for a long time, especially the last 15 years. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia several years ago and I was suffering with pain everywhere.
I tried all sorts of things: vitamins, exercise, and medicine. I went to many different doctors and rheumatologists who kept writing out new prescriptions. The pain pills they gave me never corrected the problem, they only masked it. I suffered from the side effects of the prescriptions as well. They caused me to have stomach pains and nausea, and make me feel sick. During that time I felt like I was in the body of a 90-year old, and I was only 50! I had no energy, no life. I was tired all of the time and I didn't want to partipate in life. I wanted to close myself off, away from society. After the first adjustment that Dr. Mike gave me, I felt the best that I had felt in 10 years. Dr. Mike was able to explain to me that my condition had to do with my nervous system. He oeffered me hope that it could be corrected. I have been under care for a while now and I feel reborn. New body, new person, inside and out. I was taking 4-6 pills a day and now I am not taking any of them because I don't need them. My memory has improved. I am hearing and seeing better. My sinuses are better and I was able to handle my allergies and function normally for the first time in a long time! I am now telling everyone about Dr. Mike. All of my friends and family have noticed such a change in me for the good. My husband is seeing me do things that I haven't done in years. It's amazing. Dr. Mike is amazing, and this office is amazing. I am so glad that I met Dr. Mike that day at the art show. You can't tell me that it was not Divine Intervention. |
Rosemary O. I met Dr. Mike when he came to the office where I work to do a health screening. I had been suffering with severe headaches for twenty years when Dr. Mike said that he could help me. Approximately three times a week I would have a headache and migraine headaches with nausea once a week. I had to lay down in the dark whenever I had a migraine, and if I woke up with a headache, I would not be able to do anything until it passed. I wold take Advil or Tylenol when I had a headache and it would hlep occasionally, but it would never help a migrain. I decided to go and see Dr. mike. It's been almost a year since I first came to see him and I have only had two or three headaches the entire time. That is less than I used to have in one week's time! I have also noticed that I havent' been sick nearly as often or had my usual problems with allergies either I am better able to tell how stress affects my body now as well. The only thing I want to know is where he was twenty years ago! |
The Rosario Family What was your reason for coming to Risoldi Family Chiropractic? My husband experienced neck and back pain. My son and I were rear-ended, twice, and after that I experienced back pain. I wanted to get care for my son to make sure he was really all right. What had you tried prior to coming to us, and did it work? We had tried no other treatments. We wish that we had known the benenfits of chiropractic care earlier. What results have you received from chiropractic care? Our family's health has improved. Physicians are amazed at our son's health. It all comes together with exercise, nutrition, and regular adjustments. When my husband took our son for his physical, the physician was amazed at how thin our son's medical file was. Our family started coming to see Dr. Mike in December of 2000. Our scans showed neck and back problems, some we were unaware of. I was also diagnosed with slight scoliosis. Our son had been involved in two care accidents, both rear impacts. It's a wonder to me how we can read our bodies. Aside from our regular visits, when one of us is sick, we make an appointment right away. Dr. Mike has educated us in so many ways. First, in our nutrition, teaching us about the right foods. I highly recommend the book, "Optimal Fitness" by Douglas D. Grant. It reiterates all teh information that Dr. Mike has told us. Being a military family, we won't be in this area for as long as we would hope. Wherever we go, we will always look for the chiropractic care that we have received at Risoldi Family Chiropractic. We are able to lead healthier lifestyles because of what they have done and you can't put a price on that. |
Marlene L. It was my trainer that first suggested that I come to Dr. Mike. I had tried everything else. After being diagnosed with arthritis in the spine and suffering with low back and hip pain 24/7 for at least six years. I was searching for an answer. I went to my medical doctor, and osteopath, and a chiropractor that did manipulation of my spine. None of that helped. I tried physicial therapy and massage therapy. Again, nothing. The pain pillls didn't help either. I tried an anit-inflammatory and three different arthritis medications. Vioxx resulted only in weight gain and none of the medication helped at all. It was so bad that when i would get up from a chair, I had to stand there for a while and then gradually start to walk. I couldn't do household chores like vacuuming or changing the littler box. I was pretty sure at that point that it was just old age and i would just have to live with it. That was until I met Dr. Mike. I first noticed a difference on my fifth visit to see Dr. Mike. I thought it was a joke at first because I had never had this type of adjustment before but let me just count the ways that I have improved since I first started care! No pain...it is 100% gone (and with no after affects either). I am off of four different prescription medications. I've lost 20 pounds. I like my job again. I am able to handle stress better, it just doesn't bother me like it used to. I have no more congestion in my sinuses. I gave up smoking. My workouts are much better, and I can actually run now! I continue to come to Dr. MIke because my overall physical, mental, and emotional being has never been this good. I don't think I have ever felt this good (and I am 55 years old!). I know it is important to maintain the work that Dr. Mike has done, and it just keeps getting better. Overall, I am a happier person because of coming here. |
Judy W. I began seeing Dr. Mike because of my daughter. She was a sickly baby, with bad circulation and irregular bowels. I took her to a massage therapist friend of our family because I was getting nowhere with the pediatrician. She told me that Audrey (my daughter) had some problems that she could help but not fix. She then recommended that I go see a Chiropractor. I had never been to a chiropractor before, and when this person recommended I take my 3 month old child to one. I thought she had lost her mind. After talking about Dr. Mike's technique a little while, the massage therapist reassured me that she would be fine, that Dr. Mike is very gentle and doesn't "twist and crack." So, I made and appointment to see Dr. Mike. My daughter was in a carrier sleeping when we went in for our inintal visit. I had a few reservations with taking my baby to see a chiropractor, but everyone was so kind, and Dr. Mike was very reassuring. He took a look at her and felt her neck. Without looking at my daughter's chart he asked me if she was having digestive problems and circulation issues. I told him "yes," that the pediatrician I was taking her to at the time told me that she would have food allergies for the rest of her life, and she wouldn't be be able to eat certain foods. I found that a bit hard to believe, something was telling me that wasn't entirely accurate. Dr. Mike then adjusted Audrey for the first time while she was asleep in her carrier. She didn't wake up while he was adjusting her. I sat there in amazement and watched her hands go from whilte, clammy and cold to pink and warm. I knew he had done something amazing. He told me that she was going to be fine, but he wanted to see her the next day to check on her again. The next day I came back and told Dr. Mike that Audrey had a bowel movement for the first time in over a week! I was so excited I started to cry. She is 5 years old now, and she's a normal little girl, with no problems. I was so happy with the changes in my daughter, I told my mother and father, who both had problmes of their own, that they should go see Dr. Mike. They have been loyal patients since 2003. I began working for Dr. Mike in 2006. I wanted to work for someone with a passion for making people healthy and happy. Doctor Mike certainly loves what he does, and it shows in the people he helps every day. I'm honored and proud to be a part of that. |
Debbie A I met Dr. Mike on my 45th birthday at an Arts & Crafts Festival. After my free scan, he said, "I believe I can help you." I had not heard those words in nearly 10 years of searching. Previously I had tried massage, biofeedback, surgery, every medication possible, in jections, and manipulative chiropractic. All were temporary fixes. By the time I came here I was taking 3-4 injections monthly and taking pain meds on a regular basis. I was feeling totally toxic and still in a lot of pain. Barbara P. "Chiropractic has freed me from pain and I can do anything if I put my mind to it" I came to Risoldi Family Chiropractic through a co-worker and friend. I had a sore right knee and general all over aches and pains. Since seeing Dr. Mike, my knee has improved to the point where I have no pain and I feel great. The orthopedic doctor I was seeing can’t believe my pain is gone since I have bone on bone and needed a knee replacement. But I am postponing that for as long as I can! Without Chiropractic I would probably have so much pain in my knee and back that I wouldn’t be able to walk or work. I feel that it has freed me from pain and I can do anything I put my mind to. Tim K. Dr. Mike, I want to thank you for all the help you have give me over the past year. From black and red in the scans to clear and a little blue and green in the neck is a far cry from what I felt like a year ago.
I have suffered from degenerative disc disease (3 back surgeries) as well as fibromyalgia for the past 5 years and Dr. Mike has helped me immensely. I swim in my pool everyday and keep active with exercising in the pool and walking my 2 dogs.
